Linux Kernel Engineer

The candidate will be tasked with design and implementation of kernel and corresponding user land system components in a Linux environment. 

• Should  have 3+ years of hands on experience working with any flavour of Unix (Linux/Solaris/HPUX/AIX/BSD).
• Should be an experienced KERNEL programmer with sound knowledge of OS internals of at least one Unix flavour mentioned above.
• Should have prior experience working with IO stack (software) in a Unix environment.
• Should be an experienced Unix SYSTEMS programmer (system calls, multi threading).
• Should have very good problem solving and communication skills.
• Should be comfortable working in a dynamic start up environment.

Linux QA Engineer

 

The candidate will be tasked with Test Planning, Development and Execution in a Linux environment. 

• Should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in Linux based QA.
• Should be familiar with Unix environment, shell scripting.
• Should be able to independently design, develop and execute test plans.
• Should be very familiar with storage subsystems and general unix troubleshooting.
• Scripting experience with Python/Perl would be a plus.
• Working knowledge of Operating System internals would be a plus.
• Should be comfortable working in a dynamic start up environment.
