Postdoctoral Researcher in NLP for Legal Informatics

Duration: 12 months contract, full-time (40h/week), expected to be extendable
Start: as soon as possible
Your Role
The ICR group is seeking an outstanding postdoc to strengthen its research team in computational techniques used for the legal domain, especially natural language processing for legal informatics.
The postdoc is expected to pursue state-of-the-art research activities, contribute to existing research projects like the Information in the EU's Digitalized Governance (INDIGO), to research proposals, assist in supervision, teaching, and public dissemination activities of the ICR group. There will be a possibility to collaborate with local spin-offs.
Your Profile
- A PhD in computer science or any discipline relevant to this area of research
- Expertise in computational solutions used for law, especially in NLP
- Willingness to contribute to research projects and proposals
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Commitment, creativity, and teamwork skills
