Call for job applications: Postdoc ERC-project: using data science to analyse legal big data (1.0 FTE)

Dear colleagues,

The ERC funded EVICT project (www.eviction.eu) has a vacancy for a postdoctoral researcher. The Postdoc (with a two-year appointment for 0.9-1.0 FTE) will focus on using and developing data science techniques to analyse national and international court judgements. The techniques include machine learning and network analysis, but there is the option to include other techniques and legal datasets.

The researcher will become a member of the Department of Legal Methods of the University of Groningen (the Netherlands), a lively legal multidisciplinary department at the faculty of law. The researcher will also participate in the computational linguistics research group at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Groningen (located in the same building as the Faculty of Law).
