nbdime with git-lfs

Hi,

I've just installed nbdime but when I try to use to to diff local changes, I get this error:

```nbformat.reader.NotJSONError: Notebook does not appear to be JSON: 'version https://git-lfs.github.com/spec...```

I suppose its because my notebook is in git-lfs. Does anyone have any tips for this situation?
