Hi,

I am using the jupyter version which comes along with anaconda distribution. I have customized the notebook part to some extent. I have added a new menu & sub menu and it works fine . The problem is lately i added a new option in my sub menu but the option is never displayed on the menu . I tried restarting the notebook , clearing the browser cache etc. Still the new option is never displayed .

On debugging i saw that the file the was getting displayed is an old version and not sure where it is getting it from, because in the config directory I have only the latest file and the startup shows it is fetching from the right directory.

Is there some cache somewhere i need to clean ??? . Not sure what is the issue since there is no error on console.

What version of the notebook (jupyter notebook --version) and where is the file being served from? I think the /nbextensions route where extensions ought to be served from is set up to explicitly disable caching, but I could have that wrong.

A quick way to check if caching is the problem is to load the same page in an incognito / private window.
