JupyterHub Spawner throws 500 error: You cannot remove a runnin container

Hi
I have a JupyterHub setup.
Occasionally when I select a notebook image from the spawner form, I get the error below. If I click again, it succeeds.
Any idea how to resolve this? TIA.
Spawner Options
