This should be a small release, fixing various bugs and introducing some minor new features. We are doing a beta release because we want to be extra careful that traitlets releases don’t break anything, sinc eit’s t

pip install --upgrade --pre traitlets

We are doing a beta release because we want to be extra careful that traitlets releases don’t break anything, since it's the underpinning of everything. We will release traitlets 4.3 final next week if all goes smoothly with the beta.
