Hi Guys,

I'm using latest version of JupyterLab, when I open a terminal and leave it for a while, sometimes it won't work any more after i return, and the chrome console logs:

WebSocket is already in CLOSING or CLOSED state.

But kernel is fine, it will reconnect by itself according to chrome console logs:

Connection lost, reconnecting in 2 seconds.

Can terminal support this feature too?

Great suggestion. Can you make an issue in the JupyterLab repo so we can track this request?

Thanks,

Jason
