Hey guys,

I'm using the online notebook to study/apply a course I am taking.  However, after about 5mins the kernel loses connection.  I have tried all the commands to reconnect without losing the page, but the only thing that works is refreshing and creating a whole new notebook. I am just curious if anyone knows a simple solution.

Do you mean try.jupyter.org ? There's an issue about it here:
https://github.com/jupyter/try.jupyter.org/issues/20

Be aware that try.jupyter.org is only meant for quick demos and experiments - even when it's working properly. If you're using the notebook regularly, you'll be better off installing it locally (http://jupyter.org/install.html ) or using a service like Sagemathcloud, where you can log in and store your notebooks.
