Dear Jupyter community,
The
SciPy 2018 call for proposals is open and I am emailing on behalf of the Tutorial Committee to encourage a submission from members of the Jupyter community. Last year's "The Jupyter Interactive Widget Ecosystem" tutorial was one of the most well-rated and we'd love to see more relating to the Jupyter ecosystem.
Tutorials will be presented July 9-10 and, as usual, the conference is in Austin. In recognition of the effort required to plan and prepare a high-quality tutorial, we pay a stipend of $1,000 to each instructor (or team of instructors) for each half-day session they lead. You may find additional information
here and the deadline for submission is February 9th. (Please note that this is significantly earlier than past years.)
Please feel free to email with any questions.
Alex, on behalf of the Tutorials committee
