Seeing your screenshot however is making me consider seeing if it is worthwhile implementing the other way round... Maybe Angular within a Jupyter Lab extension...

This seems to be jupyter with a JS kernel?
I am looking for a way to use Angular (or react js) to create rich
object representations in javascript consisting of a clickable graphic figure and pop-up text windows.
I don't know if this is relevant to what you do here?

I am looking on adding jupyter notebooks to my angular app. Have you done this? I checked the github repository below and got a 404.
