How to start a jupyter extension

I'm want to develop a jupyter extension. There are any resource in which talk's about that?

There are a lot of different kinds of extension, like server extensions, kernels, and notebook extensions.

If you are talking about a notebook extension, it maybe best to just write it for Jupyter Lab because otherwise it will have to be rewritten anyway.
