Hello,

It's getting *very* late, but if some of you are around after
JupyterCon (which happens in Paris, May 10-12), and would be
interested in joining some informal sprints around Jupyter for
Education in Paris, I could search for a location.

If you are tentatively interested, please fill in this date poll
before Friday, and I'll see what can be done from there:

https://evento.renater.fr/survey/teaching-with-jupyter-potential-sprint-6d0z9pup?lang=en

Feel free to add comments about where you will be staying, whether you
have booked slots at the official Jupyter sprints (I haven't), etc.

Cheers,
Nicolas

PS: I was planning to organize a formal Teaching with Jupyter workshop
just after JupyterCon, but funding delays ruined the
opportunities. Next time!

In case it offers any food for thought on this topic, last November I wrote a short two-part series about teaching with Colab, which you can find here:

Q: Why is this email three sentences or less?

Hi Nicolas,

I will attend JupyterCon and would be interested to discuss this topic with you!
Unfortunately I will leave right at the end of the conference, but could we find a moment during the conference (e.g. lunch time, coffee break...)?

For information I will present the Jupyter for Education initiative of EPFL on Thursday May 11 at 10h30 (see here: https://cfp.jupytercon.com/2023/talk/UWWSRU/).
In case it is of interest, we have created a website that presents 5 scenarios for using notebooks, including interviews from teachers: https://go.epfl.ch/notebooks

Looking forward to discussing with you,

Given the answers to the poll, let's settle for Saturday May 13th. If
you haven't answered yet but wish to participate, please fill in the
poll. I'll send details about location and time when settled. Whether
you have already answered or not, please add a comment about whether
you have booked a sprint pass for Saturday or not.

Cheers,
Nicolas
