Hi there,

I am a contractor working on a client site which still uses IBM RAD
6.0, built on Eclipse 3.1. There are reasons for this but they don't
really matter... ;) What does matter is that I feel pretty confident
there must be a Jupiter version that works on Eclipse 3.1, given the
age of the project, but I can't find it. The google repository
doesn't have JARs older than 2007 and the CSDL repository doesn't seem
to exist.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of Jupiter for Eclipse 3.1?

Kind regards,
Peter.

Hello,
The project itself no longer has any kind of code or binaries dating back that far.  They do exist, but we no longer have them.  We've lost the code in the transition through many repositories and before we moved to Google Code we didn't normally keep every version of Jupiter around.  Version 3.2.1 is the only one that made from any pre-Google Code repository onto the downloads page.  The CSDL CVS and SVN repositories have been taken down for a while now.  I checked them before they were taken down and they did not have history dating back far enough for Eclipse 3.1.  The project was temporarily housed at another site and I suspect that is where most of the information was lost.

I've looked and looked several times and I just cannot find them.  Your best bet is perhaps finding someone that is still running something based on Eclipse 3.1 and asking them for the JAR from their plugins folder.

Peter,
Although I have the old Jupiter source code, I am not sure if I have the old Jupiter jar file. But if I cannot find the jar file, you can rebuild it easily.

I will be at work tomorrow, and I will send it to you at noon time.
