As a measure to combat the problem of expectation setting, we will be having a webinar for the induction of matched EPs.
The webinar will be held on 6th and 7th of April.
There are currently 211 matched EPs on system. Our target is to ensure that these matched EPs have a good expectation setting before they arrive and there are minimum quality issues. These EPs will go back and build a pipeline for us by sharing their experiences.
Below is the webinar agenda and points that would be covered :
#Briefing about India, the DOs and DONTs, setting cultural expectations (basic expectation setting): (estimated time : 15 mins) you can use the information given in the trainee pre arrival reception package. The objective is to ensure that they do not have a major cultural chock and are mentally prepared to adjust to the same. We can tell them about various notions, beliefs in India, safety measures and other precautionary measures. Tell them they are here for an adventure, to experience a different country. They should make the most of their experience, try things beyond their comfort zone. It will be challenging yet rewarding.
# Clarifying the 150$ fee aspect and what all it covers
#Expectations on the project (estimated time : 15-20 mins): list down the expectations, like
Attendance
Contribution
Certificates and endorsements would be given based on their effort
Communication channels for your team and being responsive
Punctuality (at the same time ensure you yourself are following all of these)
Taking initiatives, following timelines
Weekly review meetings (if any), attending LC forums
Give them links to the nationalised project wikis
In case of any problems they should contact the LC VP before contacting their LC. If the VP or the TN manager doesn,t respond. They should write to the MC VP
Once you’ve given your expectations, take the expectations of interns. And strive to live up to them.
#Project Agenda: (estimated time : 10-15 mins) discuss the week wise agenda with the list of activities.
#Ask them to go through the XPP and tell them about NPS and its importance briefly.
#Take up their Questions.
