Event for Euphoria

Dear Seniors,

The junior committee members had a meeting today regarding NjM's event for Euphoria and this is what we came up with :-

In conversation with our classmates, we found that everybody is very anxious about his/her summer internship. With just about a month to go, the students are unsure about what to expect, how to prepare themselves and finally, how to get that coveted pre-placement offer. 

So we thought of an idea of organizing a guest session called 'Internship To PPO' wherein the speaker can educate the students about the do's and dont's of summer internship and how to convert it into a PPO. The guest speaker we plan to call is Mr. Roy Charles, President, Roy Eddington-Charles and Associates, who was also the judge of LMS's round 5. He is a consultant with over two decades of training experience in top companies and has also conducted training seminars at IIM - A, B, C, L, I, K, FMS, IIFT and XLRI. He charges a consultation fee per student for his seminars. However, since he is coming to NMIMS for the first time for his seminars, we can try to bring him as a guest speaker. We'll have to work out the terms with his company.

If we can get him to agree, it can be a great crowd-puller and with one month before the internships start, the timing couldn't be better. We'll have to market the seminar and generate buzz on campus. We feel the session will be a huge success and the students will gain a lot from it. 

Please let us know your thoughts on the same. We can then take it forward with the speaker and the council.
