Windy City Field Hockey

Registration for Windy City Field Hockey winter session begins tomorrow at 9 am.  The 2 programs I am considering are: the Academy or  Select.  The time that works for us is Monday 5:30-7:00 at the Highland Park Field house.

I know Kate would love to do this with some of her Sears' friends.

Anyone else game?  if so, which one? Academy or Select?

Hi all,

I talked to a few friends whose daughters have played Windy City for years. The difference between select and academy is that select gives the girls a chance to be considered for travel teams while academy does not. I really don't think Avery is a select player at all but happy to sign her up if that is what the group chooses.

Monday works for us.

On another note, NSCDS will play NT in a rematch on Friday, 10/6 at 5 pm at New Trier (west). I have not checked if there is a conflict with Ms. Kay's or drop in but could be fun for the girls if they want to watch a competitive high school match. It is highly likely that these two teams will compete for the state championships this year. I have Aidan's last soccer game of the season that day but could have our nanny take some girls if they are interested.
