Hey Scouting Fans,

Historically the Eighth grade Scouts both male and female place the small American Flags in the circle for the fallen Kenilworth residents that gave their lives for our freedom. This year we are able to make sure all the boys participate either in the parade or ceremony along with younger Scouts. The Boys are to meet Ann Bird at Memorial Park (East of Village Hall) at 12:30pm to go over their assignments and do a few dry runs so they don't embarrass themselves in front of the town. They should come to the Park dressed in their Scout Shirts, Neckerchiefs, slides and bring those big Smiles, they will be leaving from Memorial Park directly to Warwick Ave to line up the for the Parade. Boys took a vote last night and have decided to wear Khaki shorts if they don't have Khaki Shorts than please wear something as close as possible to Khaki color to look as one unit. Please see the following list for your son's assignment:

William Ellerman - Flag Placement
Quinn Keenan - Flag Placement
Quinn McClamroch - Flag Placement
Ryan Haggerty - Flag Placement
Chris Nodine - Flag Placement
Chase Boerke - Flag Placement
Zach Baj - Flag Placement
Jack Garvey - Flag Placement
Aidan Martin - Flag Placement
Jay Mawicke - Flag Placement
Patrick Lennon - Flag Placement

Scott Buzard - Wreath Placement
Ryan Anderson - Wreath Placement

Mitchell Lafferty - Trumpeter of Taps (need to practice Taps and bring a trumpet)

Rob Werd - American Flag (Parade)
Pranav Madhu - Troop Flag (parade)
Nick Mangel - Kenilworth Flag (parade)

Jack Seminetta (Flag ceremony at Court of Honor)

Eighth Grade Scouts will be invited to start attending Senior Scout meetings this coming Monday. They will also be invited to attend the Wolf River trip on June 12-14th. Tom Edson will be making arrangements and to get signed up on the Senior Troop email, please send Tom an Email at TomJohnEdson@gmail.com. The Senior Troop is great and the boys will really enjoy be a part of it, please encourage them to stick with Scouting! Eighth grade parents it has been truly a pleasure working with you and your son's since second grade.

See Ya All Sunday, think dry weather!
