8th Graders to Senior Troop, Shooting Competion, Thank you

Hey Scouting Fans,

Wow what a day for Scouting in Kenilworth! 10 Eagles, countless of earned merit badges and just a lot of big SMILES! Great to witness, keep up the hard work!

Eighth graders are invited to join the Senior Troop, Starting Monday night May 18th at 7:30pm in the Sears gym. Don't be late or you will have your choice of 50 push ups or sing a song, neither would this author prefer. To the eighth graders it has been truly an honor to work with you since second grade you are all becoming great men, great things are coming your way and we expect to hear about them. 

We have five young men that are to report to Village Hall by 6:58 pm to represent the Junior Troop in the first annual marksmen shoot out against the Kenilworth Police, good luck. The Trophy will be displayed in the Scout case in the hallway by Sears gym. Good luck guys!

To the younger Scouts, it has truly been an honor to get to know you and the future looks bright for all of you as well. It will be your job to help the incoming leaders to feel comfortable and help them learn the ropes. Your all great young men and expect great things out of you, set the example for others.

It is now time to turn the torch over to Bill Fitzgerald, Randy White and Ron Lafferty, you three now have the greatest Troop, Troop 13. You have just an amazing group of adult leaders that are All experts in their individual positions. They are all waiting to help and assist you, have a great time with the boys and parents, best in the world. Troop 13 is arguably one of the best Troop's in the Country if not world. The opportunities of getting to know the boys, families and town of Kenilworth is endless. Nothing like sitting around a campfire, driving the Scout Vans and just listening to the Scouts talking and knowing whom your child hangs out with, is priceless.   

You kind people thank me but it is I that thank you!
