Boyscout Advancment Information

Hello Junior Troop,

Hope the first week of school is going well! Welcome back to another fun year of scouting! We are so lucky once again to have so many parents actively involved in helping our scouts achieve their required badges and advancement. Please thank all of the counselors and leaders who donate their time to provide our scouts with many unique opportunities in scouting. 

I have scheduled all of the merit badge counseling sessions for the year and the list of dates and counselors is attached. Please mark your calendars for these dates. Please note you will need to reach out to the counselor to let them know you will be attending and if the course is offered at the Evanston Ecology Center, please register online. Please remember to reach out to your merit badge counselor (Mrs. Baur or me - Mrs. Martin) to obtain a blue card BEFORE you attend a session at the Evanston Ecology Center. You do not need a blue card for the local counselors sessions. 

Parents - please also mark your calendars for Friday, 9/25 at 9 am for a coffee at Heather Martin's house. Please feel free to invite any other parents whose boys may be interested in scouting. Cindy and I will answer any advancement questions. 

Our fall Board of Review will be held on 11/10 at 6:30 pm in the Village House and the fall Court of Honor will be held on 11/16 at 7:30 at the Holy Comforter Church. We are updating all of scouting reports from a busy summer of Makajawan and Boundary Waters and will send updated reports to each scout in September. Please make sure that all blue cards are turned in soon.
