A&P staff told me this week that the store's closing has been moved up
to September 8.
I haven't heard anything else new since our meeting several weeks
ago. I know that we've all been busy.
I talked to Fred Sayre, former Fred Meyer manager, yesterday. Turns
out he lives downtown and wants to help. He has a lot of information
about what's needed to make a store in that location profitable.
