Hi All,

I thought our first informational meeting last Tuesday turned out pretty well. I have thanked Andrew Crow profusely on all our behalves for taking an evening out for us on very short notice. I thought his presentation was a real help in getting focused on the issues....nothing like having an expert on board.

And, an extra special thanks to Kathy Hill for doing a great job in recording the meeting in her excellent report. If you weren't able to be at the meeting and haven't already read Kathy's report, I urge you to so. The only clarifying point I would make is that Kathy wrote "A qualified manager has been identified". I believe she meant "A qualified manager has not yet been identified". We ahd a good discussion of the importance of top notch management for any enterprise to succeed, and that is something we have to keep in mind as we move forward.

At the bottom of Kathy's report is a list off "to do's" that have my name attached to them I've had an awfully busy week and am travelling on business this wekend, bu I hope to report more to you all on those subjecs next week. Meanwhile, I signed up for a Juneau Food Co-op table at the JACC's Community Day on Staurday the 19th from 11 to 4....a chance for a little more public outreach.

Kind regards,

Greg Fisk

Clarification. Dennis Harris said a former manager of Fred Meyers is well qualified and that is to whom I was referring. Others may not have heard Dennis, sorry.
