Hello neighbors,

I know some of you have already shared your opinions about the concept of purchasing a building with Covid relief (CARES Act) funds.

If you would like to learn more or join the discussion, there is a public meeting via zoom tomorrow (Wednesday) at 5 pm. The zoom link is https://juneau.zoom.us/j/94264788341

Scott Ciambor, the CBJ Chief Housing Officer, could also provide more details and a call-in number, scott....@juneau.org, 586-0220

For those who do join the conversation, questions to consider are:
* how does a building purchase fits with the plans that service providers have crafted to reduce the number of people experiencing homelessness in Juneau?
* what are the long-term plans for a building purchased with the emergency funds?
* how does this purchase fit in with other Covid relief budget priorities like additional funding to make "school" accessible for all students this year?

 Take care,
- Emily
