Greetings,
We're writing you today about an incredible opportunity to support a group of Israelis and Palestinians who have a shared dream of creating a space where families in each of their communities can come together and learn Nonviolent Communication, find compassionate ways to connect and create understanding. Imagine the impact that could have!
Please consider making a gift. Why? Because, if you're like us at Northwest Compassionate Communication, you'd love a tangible way to contribute to a culture of nonviolence in the Middle East. And we have a tried and tested means to do just that. - We have 11 years of experience transforming families into peacemakers at our Vashon Island Nonviolent Communication Family Camp in Washington state.
- To date, our camp has successfully given rise to four other family camps in the United States.
- This July, teams that include Jewish Israelis, Arab Israelis and West Bank Palestinians will come together at our camp—for the first time ever!
We intend to provide the conditions for connection, understanding, team building, mentorship and program development for three Middle East Nonviolent Communication (NVC) family camps: one in Israel, one in the West Bank and, ultimately, a co-hosted NVC Israeli-Palestinian family camp. Imagine the possibilities... We have already begun the process. Read our 3-phase plan: http://igg.me/at/israelpalestinenvcfamilycamp. Your support will make it happen!

Why Nonviolent Communication Family Camp? We regard NVC family camps as unique and fertile ground for giving rise to a next generation of skilled peacemakers. Opportunities to practice the principles and skills of peace continually emerge, and the community supports conflict mediation, healing, empathy and honest sharing. "With its focus on feelings and universal human needs, the practice of NVC stimulates deeper understanding of ourselves and others and provides a compassionate way to relate to one another, even in the face of conflict." —Marshall Rosenberg, Ph.D., Creator of Nonviolent Communication

In 2013, inspiration struck them to create the first-ever, combined Israeli-Palestinian NVC family camp. Read about them and see their photos: http://igg.me/at/israelpalestinenvcfamilycamp.
We need your help! To bring over all eight partners for peace, we need to raise $25,000 before July 21! Your investment will make it possible for these four Israeli and four Palestinian team members to: - Participate in an NVC family camp for the first time.
- Join us as we live a twelve-day, all-encompassing, NVC experience.
- Learn the ropes of planning, setting up, running and evaluating their own family camps.
- Create the cross-cultural team bond they need to work together.
- Build a web of connections with American and international families—from babes in arms to grandparents.
- Gain the skills and framework to make their dream a reality.

Your support is vital! If you, too, can see the possibilities, please become a partner for peace with us. In the words of Margaret Mead, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." Contribute whatever amount would most inspire you. Make an investment in the future—now: http://igg.me/at/israelpalestinenvcfamilycamp. THANK YOU! شكرا תודה
