Michael J Hackett

828 980 0843.

Here is a thought process that has been going on for me this past while.

What If ?
Perhaps the bible story is true, you know the story of the apple of the tree , "The Forbidden  Fruit"!!
I am guessing my perspective of the human world we live in today may be that of a Raving Lunatic and am proud to hold such vision !!
What if our world is operated from the energy of Patriarchal society, Immature Masculine, the big stick of power over.
I am imagining the energy of the world as a great push energy of Should Do,
"Do such and such", and you'll have happiness, IE modern day advertising.
Also, don't do such and such or you will be punished.
I am wondering how one can shift that energy of Power Over to,
Empowering self and others through the allowing of authentic heart to heart connection !!!

The story of Eve and Adam I am remembering is set in a garden and everything is Hunky Dorey, Sound as a Bell, NO Worries, with the pair a them, until something happens one day, or maybe it was a week ??
I don't know for sure and I have yet to meet a body who personally spoke with either Adam or Eve who can tell me what really happened !!!!
Perhaps both of these beings were empowered with all Knowing and all remembering, both having heart to heart connection, authentic vulnerability, yip that's right, there was a lot of nakedness in that story I remember ??
Then there's some illusion around eating of a forbidden and their eyes are opened to their own nakedness and off they scurry to hide them selves in the clothing of Shame.
In that event the energy of power over blinds their seeing eyes. Almost as if  in a great battle of wounding they forget their own inner knowingness  of self empowerment, and the weeds of shame choke the sweetness of life from the garden where once Eve and Adam self nourished and nourished each other!!
I am wondering if that very choking weed or fabric of Shame is what our society feeds on today, is addicted to this day.
I am noticing all the implied should's around this time of year ,,,, mostly buying stuff to create the illusion of happiness in the context of so called Gifting.
I am filled with stunned sadness realizing how we  are suckered into illusion of Christmas Gifting !!!
It is noted that the deepest Human Longing is to contribute to Humanity and be fulfilled !
I am guessing each and every one of us has a unique gift to bring to humanity,
perhaps that gift is so obscured  by the weeds of Shame that we have forgotten how to find the harvesting of that gift in our inner garden.
The Patriarchal world we live began perhaps in that Garden, The one Eve and Adam were in,
I am guessing that is when the old Sacred Rites of Passage, the stepping from the Immature Adolescent to the Mature Adult, " Walking Through the Valley of Darkness were pushed out of reality, and in his immature ignorance Man and Woman began to cultivate the weeds of Shame in the garden addicted to the illusion of power over.
Today that Garden is steady growing bumper crops of Shame and Power over, under the guidance of the Immature Masculine, AKA the Patriarchal  Society ?
Are you willing to consider the Question ,
" How Do I bring forth from within me, with ease and contentment my gift to Humanity, This Christmas ?"
Are you willing to risk the adventure into the unknown to be the change you see the world needs now  ?
You are not alone ,
You are looked after.

Good luck Everyone,

Michael J.

Michael,

You wrote:  Empowering self and others through the allowing of authentic heart to heart connection!!!

I am enjoying pondering that thought.

And you asked two questions:

"How Do I bring forth from within me, with ease and contentment my gift to Humanity, This Christmas?"

Are you willing to risk the adventure into the unknown to be the change you see the world needs now?

I’m asking myself, “What IS the change I see the world needs now?”  What comes to my mind immediately is “unconditional love and acceptance.”

That’s a pretty tall order; but yes, I think the adventure is well worth the risk.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for posing the questions!

Love,

Peggy

Hi Michael, Peggy & everyone,
Yes! Thank you for this gift giving Michael.

Peggy, thank you for the gift of unconditional love & acceptance. I have been struggling with these recently.

And I would like to offer the gifts of "peace and harmony"

Unconditional love
Acceptance
Peace
Harmony
...

Anyone else want to add their gift under our Tree of life?

Abrazos

I would like to add Presence to the Tree of Life.

True Presence is radical, in my opinion. Presence to What Is, from an eye that welcomes all What Is as beauty.

Peace,
Amy

Greetings -

here is a midrash - a tale from Kabbalah that gives a different perspective on the Adam & Eve story.  In my spiritual practice, these stories from the Torah are metaphorical and provide a richness to explore all the different meanings.   I use tale in my Communication as a Spiritual Practice on the first session to support the understanding of needs:

There is a midrash - tale - that before Adam and Chava (Eve) tasted the juice of the apple, they had bodies of light or bodies clothed with light.  This means they were each pure light or what we might call pure soul.   As a result of their decision to know more, they needed to leave the garden and enter the world that surrounded the garden and Tree of life.  In leaving the garden, they lost their body/clothing of light.  G-d clothed or covered them with skin.

So under each person's skin, there is this divine spark of light - and as you know, some people may feel easier to see and experience their light than other people.  Perhaps their skin is thicker or my heart needs patience or practice to see that the light is still within each of us.

This flow of Divine light is an energy that, in NVC, we also call needs.  Getting in touch with these needs, we can feel the energy of this flow of light.

Shine all my friends!

In peace,

Susan Kaplan, M.S.W., M.P.A., R.Y.T.

Susan,
Your story reminds me of the daily Kabbalah tune-up from Dec. 8th that I am still rolling around in my mind.

Daily Tune-Up by Yehuda Berg

Regardless of what you are going through, every difficult experience will serve to better you, if you allow it.

Cherish every second of life, no matter the experience.

What’s good is great, and what’s bad just makes you stronger.

Love & light,
Sandy Marmar
