Hello Everyone , I am guessing their is an illusion that the word of the week is similar in some way to Need of the day !!

Word of the week has two very clear objectives ,

1. To invite awareness of the possibility that

"There is a Life in Me, There is a life in you , What does that life yearn for, long for , or need ?"

2. What comes alive inside you right now, as you connect to the word of the week ?

Some times words are inefficient to describe  that aliveness, and being stuck for words may be the thing that is alive in you, in that moment that is real and authentic living in you ......

That is the function of concise words 60 or less.

This Presentation is about what lives in me,
a yearning for authentic heart to heart connection with my people.
That is to say that I am guessing all of the people in the IIT  June  Albuquerque Group may not be my people.....

Also there is nothing that prevents everyone from writing to the IIT June Albuquerque e-mail for connection and expression of their experience of life.

I have no need around that on Word of the week and am appreciating everyone's freedom to post their stories and experiences on the IIT June Albuquerque E-mail.

If there are queries , would you be willing to post them to the IIT June Albuquerque E-mail list ?

I'm a bit confused.

I thought that you had stepped into Barbara's shoes as the Needs reflection
"facilitator", inviting thoughts weekly (vs. daily) on specific needs. No?

Thanks Jeff. Yes, I need some help understanding too.

Michael, could you please explain, briefly, what you mean when you say "awareness of...a life in me ...a life in you...what does that life yearn for?" And also what do you mean by "what comes alive"?

My interpretation was that you want to hear what comes to mind when we reflect on the word of the week - is my interpretation accurate/inaccurate?

Good morning Jeff,
Feeling gladness as I read your e-mail, hearing your yearning for clarity. I have really missed your contributions around need of the day, missed authentic connection with you and acknowledgement from you!
I am smiling at the thought of me stepping into Barbara's shoes as need facilitator and realizing it is just 12 months ago that I was introduced to NVC.
As I have already said from the beginning , word of the week has nothing to do with deep diving need of the day. Word of the week is my reply to people who requested more time to experience connection with need of the day and also to move the level on connection to heart centered reflection from more people.
Right now I am aware that more resistance and confusion has shown up for everybody, I feel a sadness that what I am trying to bring focus to in the practice of NVC is reflecting with such resistance, I am feeling like I am back in the room with the conversation about Air Conditioning, experiencing frustration and sadness that a precious gift such as the essence of NVC , that which is alive inside the heart, can get buried under fear and resistance to speak truthfully.
NVC is, to me a way of being every day not just once in a while, Community , group , call it what you will, is about constant connection for me, I miss the daily engagement of need of the day, that was my life line that helped me to grow,

I am really sad as I begin to experience a great resistance to my intent to bring clear focus to the essence , the sense of empathy , of heart to heart connection, awareness of the very thing that is alive inside all of us in this world.
"What is alive in me" is the deep longing to contribute to humanity from a place of empowerment,
I am aware of how foreign that has been in me, I am a product of a Patriarchal system, a system dominated by humans of Immature Masculine Energy, " Should Mentality". I am guessing empowerment comes from the Mature Masculine, Mature Feminine, " what is alive for me " is my yearning to engage people of empowerment ,
I am wanting to hear the raising of consciousness , the
Raising of vibration, connection to authentic heart, NVC,what ever resonates for you , I am guessing people regard me as a pushy outside the box Lunatic right now, that is who I really am , that lives in me , not needing fixing or changing,
On this Sunday morning I am present to resistance to move forward with my intention of concentrated focus on "what is alive in me" within this group, IIT June Albuquerque .
I now formally with draw my intention, and bring that energy to another place, appreciating the growth I have experienced in your company,
