Hi everyone, its good to see some familiar names from the level 1
group, and even better to know that everyone passed and did well. I'm
sure we've all celebrated and had our time off studying but now its
time to start preparing for the next level which is supposedly THE
MOST BRUTAL, so i think its worth cracking early. When does everyone
plan on starting their level 2 studies? and what does the study plan
look like?

I have already started. I've finished QM, currently on CF.
My study plan is as follows:
1) Quantitative Methods (QM)
2) Corporate Finance (CF)
3) Fixed Income (FI)
4) Derivatives (DV)
5) Equities (EQ)
6) Portfolio Management (PM)
7) Ethics (ET)
8) Economics (EC)
9) Financial Reporting & Analysis (FRA)
10) Alternative Investment (AI)

I was planning on starting on Sept 5th and do one SS per week, except
Quant and Derivatives, for which I have allocated 2 weeks for each. I
will be doing them in the CFAI order. If I keep it up like this I will
have a couple of months for reviewing and doing questions and mocks.
From what I've heard this is the toughest of the three and I am
planning on spending a lot more time studying than I did for L I.
I've already started reading Ethics, so I will be 2 weeks ahead of my
schedule; some buffer for the tougher parts :).
I haven't yet registered, but I plan on doing it this week; I hope I
will get the books in time. Fortunately my employer will pay for this
one so this is why I am so late with registering.. paperwork :)

Congrats to everyone as well! I am planning on starting this weekend-
I delved into the soft dollar portion of the ethics last weekend, but
only got through 10 or 15 pages. Just dipping my toe in :)
I ordered the Schewser material and will change my study schedule when
I see the breakout of their sections, but plan on utilizing the CFAi
material until then and to supplement newer and more difficult areas
of study.
Looking forward to dominating this Level with the rest of you!
