If any of you is using alternative prep providers (books, videos,
software) I would kindly ask that you post some sort of review (just a
few words) of them and maybe specify some reasons for using it or for
recommending it, or not.

I am using the Schweser QBank 2010. It seems quite nice, since it has
a total of 4255 questions. Some, actually most, of the questions are a
lot easier that those from CFAI books (at the end of the readings),
but I believe it is good for keeping the information close after some
time has passed and for drills. I use it after I complete each Study
Session and I plan to use it every weekend with questions from all of
the completed Study Sessions up to that point.

I also plan to get the 2011 version soon. The one I have will expire
on December 31st.

I also plan on getting the readings from an alternative prep provider
and use them after I have finished reading all the CFAI books, as a
review, sometime in April 2011.

Any thoughts on this, comments, suggestions will be highly
appreciated.

Regards,
Costin

I also read good reviews on analystforum.com about Schweser notes and
practice questions, but I do not have first hand experience with them
yet.

My question is .. if any of you is taking the exam for the second
time, can you please tell us what are you doing differently this time?
Any advice from that
perspective is appreciated. Thank you!
