Hey everyone
This weekend I will finish the first CFA book Ethics and Quants, hard work everyday in the last month for more that 100 hours.
how is it going for you?

I'm around the same area study session 7 but I feel like I'm stuck already. Don't know if its hard or just can't concentrate. Are you all doing each problem after the lesson in cfai?

Reading from CFAI Textbooks =)
Almost finished with FRA & Fixed Income. Only left with Equity and
Alternative Investments.

Actually I am reading the Cfai readings, do the end of reading questions, and than I review the reading from Schweser notes and do the questions from the end of the reading there. It takes a lot of time but I feel that this way I remember more of what I've read. I am currently @ reading 35 and I feel like FRA is a monster that keeps chasing me for the last one and a half month or so.

I am on corporate finance book, reading mainly from schweser only reading CFAI if there is complicated material. I read CFAI for FRA and schweser for FRA b./c that seems to be the most weighted topic. I should be done corp book in about 2 weeks and I will be on the last schweser book next month then its just a pure review of complicated and “hard to understand the first time around” material from march to june. J

I just finished reading 11 of the CFAI books. Don't worry you'll be
fine. I felt that way after reading some posts on here about a month
ago and reading "I just finished reading 36..etc." I thought how in
the hell are they so deep into the curricula, but I've talked to
several of people at school who have passed L1 and they said they
didnt start until late Jan/early Feb.

hii.. if you're from a non-finance background, it might help to go
thru the material 1st, read it for a week or 2 and see how comfortable
you're with it...
dont rush to register before u evn start ur preps... you still have
enough time till the next deadline (16th Feb) to read thru & then
register...
