Attendingthe North American Handbuilt Bike Show (NAHBS) this year was really awesome. I got to travel there with friends, meet up with and hangout with more friends, and then there were the bikes. Oh the bikes.

There were just so many amazing bikes that it's simply not possible to say which one was the best. Sure there were lots of awards given out, but that still doesn't make it any easier to choose. Yet there was one which I purposefully omitted from my event coverage. That's because this one has a personal connection and I felt it really deserved some special attention. And that bike is the Firefly Road frame custom painted by Eric Bones.

First, what's the background on this bike. Back in 2013, Boston's Firefly Bicycles did a small batch run of custom painted art bikes called "The Bones Project." Each of these Columbus Spirit steel tubed frames were hand crafted by Eric in a monochromatic treatment of his personal creative style. If you're wondering how special a steel Firefly is, they aren't offering them anymore so the rarity in this one high! But this is no rare relic because it was built with forethought, such as Di2 drilling for electric groupsets and assymetrical chainstays. It's very much a modern day dream machine.

One of the lucky and fortunate original buyers has since returned to Eric to have their original frame retreated. And the final product of that re-invisioning was on full display at NAHBS in the Hot Tubes booth. For the 2017 update, the design was followed by Jordan Low of Hot Tubes Paint who laid down a olive and neon green fades. Eric then treated the frame with bold shapes and lines hand painted in black, trident and other small details included. The frame was then brought back to Hot Tubes for multiple layers of clear coat to leave a glass-like finish.

The high contrast of the chartreuse on black (my second favorite combo) is hard to miss. But it's bold palette plays compliment to the balanced use of patterns, shading, imagery, and scale within Eric's creativity. From front to back some of the key treatments that set this bike off are the triton on the downtube, a custom skull above the bottom bracket, polka dots transitioning from crosses, and even a wishbone hiding under the brake bridge. If you've seen Eric's art work in other forums, you'll appreciate the font style of the "Firefly" on the downtube as well as inside the ENVE front fork. These are both done in Eric's typical font style which is inspired by his experience in hand painting typography for signs. And finally, as a nod to the origins and roots of the frame, there are various number 7s on the top tube and the chain stay. Seven is the serial number of its place in the original bones project.

Since the conclusion of NAHBS in, Hartford, the frame has returned to the Boston area, where it waited for its return to the original owner. In a turn of events, it's now for sale again. The owner is selling it complete with matching ENVE stem & straight post, Chris King ceramic Thread=Fit 24 BSA bottom bracket, and a Columbus headset. Thankfully this 55cm c-c top tube doesn't fit me or I'd be squeezing a space for another steelie. But if you're looking for a custom painted one of a kind steel frame from one of the best builders in the world (no arguments there) then get in touch with Eric and grab this one before it's gone.

The Corcoran is proud to partner with One Million Bones, a large-scale social arts practice, which uses education and hands-on art making to raise awareness of genocides and atrocities going on around the world. One Million Bones will be collecting artwork bones for a collaborative installation of 1,000,000 bones on the National Mall from June 8th-10th. Bones are either handmade of clay or will be made of biodegradable material. This installation will serve as a collaborative site of conscience to remember victims and survivors, and as a visible petition to raise awareness of the issue and call upon our government to take much needed and long overdue action. Every bone created through this initiative generates a $1 donation, up to $500,000, to CARE for their work on the ground in Somalia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

All students, staff, and faculty are welcome to join One Million Bones' Founder and Director, Naomi Natale and her partners for an informational meeting at Student Housing on Wednesday, April 3 at 7pm in Room 201 (Student Lounge*). We want your input on how to get involved, help creating bones, and/or become a member of the installation team. The Corcoran will host our first bone making session during SpringFest on Wednesday, April 10 from 11am to 4pm in the Ceramics Studio.

Spot 1. Go to Fun Park and Do "Break Yarrr Bones!" As soon as it starts go thru the Skull and let go of X. As soon as ur Flying steeer towards the left alittle and keep pushing forward. Smash into the ground from very high up and u shall get it. Keep in Mind tho this spot is outta bounds of the goal so u have to restart it unless u get up right away but who cares u got the achievement

Spot 2. Go to Fun Park and go to the boat right. Stand at the bottom of the Boat ride. Face the boat and as soon as it hits you keep pressing Y u will get stuck under the boat and it will crush u breaking all 15 bones and getting a Medical Bill of $100,000+

Also i NeeD Help Badly!!! I have 99% of the Goals Complete But i cant find a way to the last one. Its "Fast Lane To Pain!" Its in the slums and its a mission to knock down pins. Can Someone Please show me a way to get up there so i can find out what happens after i get 100%

With the factory on your left, and the school on your right. Head to the building to the left of the four houses. On it's "factory" side, the roof will have a row of letters on it. Grind the entire ledge, blowing up the letters as you go. If done correctly you'll get the gap Block Letter Party and a elevator will open in front of you and take you up the tall building. Fast Lane to Pain's on the roof.

at first i had to think where letters where and then i rember those letters that spelt Liquor. But thats gay how i now have 100% Complete and nothing happened. I have 2 Mission that have ???? as the name and have no idea how to unlock them. I really think i have to get a pro in everything to move up

When you get to rank 4 (Bulk of everything done) Tony Challenges you, nothing really special, but tells you to keep trying to find the secret of P8. Next ???? will open up when you reach rank 1. Rank one you have to have all gaps, all secret areas, full stats of course, and almost all SICK done. A develper said you dont have all the SICK done, so I am taking he's word for it. So far I have 50% of the games, 33 of the Secret Areas, and 38% of SICK done, and I am only Rank 3.

I went inside the factory and inside the car testing area. Then I built a curb at the end of the launchers. I went inside the car launchers and it launched me really fast and I hit the curb and smack right into the wall and broke 15 bones with a $110,000 hostpital bill.

also......there an area in the factory right by a hidden eyeball you break this glass behind it and you,ll go in this room with gears tou fall in the gears then you,ll pop out a ramdom and break 15 bones how i did it

Those target challenges are a bitch! i cant ever get past pro level... and thats when i get it out of pure luck. The worst is "Fast lane to Pain". I can't even get amateur on that one. That is the only challenge i dont have pro or sick on

The spot I got this achievement was by the waterfront near Capitol. There should be an elevatory thing right in the corner near some cliffs, go there and jump into it, mash the shoulder buttons and keep tapping Y. If you get a decent line you'll bounce all the way across the map and break all bones on the way.

The Arch Street Project was born out of a salvage archaeology project at the site of the First Baptist Church of Philadelphia's burial ground. Philadelphians thought the cemetery had been moved to Mount Moriah Cemetery in 1860. Over the years, the site was a hat factory, a car repair shop, and a parking lot. In 2016, during a construction project, human remains were uncovered. It quickly became apparent that the majority of individuals were not relocated during the 1860 move. Many remains were rescued from the property between February 20 - March 13, 2017. Some further remains were discovered in the summer of 2017 and removed by professional archaeologists. This website documents the excavation and lab analysis of the remains and the history of the site, its attempted move, and the people buried there. The goal is to inform the public and to give a voice to the people buried at 218 Arch Street. All human remains removed from 218 Arch Street will be reburied in September 2023 at Mt. Moriah cemetery, the location to which they were meant to be moved in 1860.

Hi, so I have a project with a couple of completely different characters but they all should have the exact same animated frame. The frame is already animated with a bone hierarchy, meshes and png sequence on one character. It took a while to set this up. Now I need to copy this frame to the other characters but only the bone structure is moved the the other skeletons, not the animation keys, not the slot with the full png sequence, not slot keys with alpha and color animation and attachment visibility. When I try to manually select and copy animation keys, nothing happens.
