Coming to the aggressive sports motorcycle styling, the Yamaha R15 V3 has been equipped with track-specific bits. The brand has equipped the motorcycle with sharper body panels which have been complemented by an LED headlight set up at the front. The overall graphic detailing of the updated motorcycle variants has been tweaked a bit though the finely-tuned minimalistic character has been retained to add to its muscular profile. Powering the Yamaha R15 V3 is a 155cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that is now BS6 compliant and capable of churning out a maximum power of 18.6 HP at 10,000 rpm and an utmost torque of 14.1 Nm at 8,500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. It is one of the most powerful 155cc sports motorcycles available in the Indian markets that have been equipped with Variable Valve Actuation that allows the motorcycle to offer high-end performance.

The brand has equipped the BS6 Yamaha R15 V3 with a fully-digital instrument unit that offers the necessary riding details. The instrument unit has been shod with a speedometer, tachometer, odometer as well as a fuel gauge. The brand has further equipped the newly revised BS6 compliant motorcycle with a side stand engine and a dual horn in addition to offering a radial tyre at the back.

The R15 V3 which has now been equipped with a BS6-compliant engine measures 1,990mm in length, 725mm in width, and 1,135mm in height. The kerb weight of the motorcycle stands at 142 kgs while the fuel tank capacity stands at 11-liters. The motorcycle gets a ground clearance of 170mm.

Coming to the other mechanical bits imparted to the 155cc sports machine, the suspension duties are handled by 41mm conventional telescopic forks at the front while the rear has been mated to a monoshock absorber. The braking power is offered by a 282mm disc brake at the front with a twin-piston caliper and a 220mm disc brake at the rear with a single-piston caliper. The brand has equipped the motorcycle with a 100/80-17 M/C 52P section tyre at the front and 140/70-17 M/C 66H section tyre at the rear.

of r15 is they don't increase the Cc Yamaha only increase 6 Cc look at pulsar 200rs and now they r launching pulsar 400ss the upgrade version of pulsar rs , ktm is expensive but their is many options but I'm very disappointed with r15

I got a confirmation from my nearest Yamaha Showroom in Mumbai that the bike will be launched by Yamaha in mid of November-2017. There is no update on the on-road price though.

So the wait is finally about to over.

Better launch this bike r15 v3 by September /October which it is affordable and sporty look .abs does not needed on yamaha r15 v3 because it is already superb without abs also.Yes Yamaha Rev your Heart.When this bike will launch in India,obviously it will come to the top hits and people would love to ride r15 v3

Before lunch this bike in India ...there should be added ABS system & AHO(Automatic Headlamp On) system in this bike .. before lunched this bike in Indoneshia I thought R15 v3.o was much power full than Bajaj Pulsar Rs200 2017 ...

this bike will not lunch in INDIA anytime soon, coz the yamaha company happy with their sales with r15s and r15v2...

so dont wait guys... go for rs200,rc200,, coz those bikes are more value for money,,,

Plz plz it's a kind request to u frm Yamaha R15 v3 fan plz add ABS to the R15 v3. Why u r thinking that other 150cc segment had nt added ABS till nw ? U start it in 2017 Generation.

I think R15 V-3 will not launch in india. 3 years ago yamaha india discuss about R125. But they did not launch R125 in india. They break our (Yamaha Lovers) heart. I think this time they also break our heart.

Sir , make the yamaha R15 V3 design same as yamaha R125 ....plz plz plz make the powerful engine like 200cc with dual ABS with perfect sitting quality material..
