Thenarrator hints that there is a discovery buried by the sands of time that those who walked with Christ understood which we do not. Jesus and His disciples were Galileans, with customs that were unique to them. He used these words, symbols, and parables to speak to them based on their culture. J. D. Farag states that it is hard for us to understand in our day what it was like for them in their day. They hint at the Olivet Discourse, but then say we must delve into their culture first.

Now we transition into the falling away. Because people are ignorant of the prophetic scriptures, this leads into the falling away of those that believe. Because people today do not believe in the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, this is a part of the end-times apostasy, the fall from truth into apostasy. Here we have a clear presentation of the gospel that only Jesus Christ is the way to forgiveness for sins and to eternal life. Lifeway Research shows that many people do not believe that the Bible is the complete word of God.

Many questions about the importance of this event of the uniting of Christ with His bride are given and answered. Then the narration mentions that one of the things that will occur is saving His bride from the wrath to come in the last days. We are now at the 1 hour 9 minute mark with 14 minutes remaining with the title of the film being Before the Wrath. Many will choose not to join in the wedding feast, and these will be left behind. The Galilean wedding feast analogy continues with the doors being shut and no one enters in or leaves for 7 days and 7 nights. In ancient Galilee, if you were locked out, there was no getting in.

There is a closing encouragement for pastors to teach their congregations what the scriptures teach, because they have more impact with their congregations than others. Those with media influence need to speak out. Each of us needs to share this message with others. We must be prepared to tell others why Jesus is coming back. In closing (7 minutes to go including 5 minutes of credits), before the day of wrath, before the feast begins, before the rapture, before the thief comes in the night, when you are offered His cup, will you accept it?

I believe civil dialogue is important. It is upsetting to see the pretribulationalists behind this film define opposing view points as satanic. That is effectively an ad hominem fallacy and not proper engagement with the arguments.

I have been listening to Jan Markell, Jack Hibbs and Jd Faraqe and Amir Tsafarti ( my apologies for spelling errors) for over 5 years. I too am concerned with there dogmatic and decisive positions on eschatology. I have determined that the great apostasy and falling away will have more to do with those who have been called yet where never given a love for the truth. 2Thes. 2:10-11The coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by the working of Satan, with every kind of power, sign, and false wonder, 10and with every wicked deception directed against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would have saved them. 11For this reason God will send them a powerful delusion so that they believe the lie, 1

Today, the largest body of the true church of God is rapidly being swept away by damnable heresies from the faith once delivered. Christians are warned of destructive and blasphemous doctrines being brought into the church in II Peter 2:1-3:

In everything we do as lifeschoolers, we should try to see the educational value and maximize it. Obviously Bible and history come into play very easily in a documentary like this! Your children will learn some great lessons in how to see the Bible in its historical context as the theologians walk through the analogy step by step, and be sure to also check out the YouVersion Reading Plan. It would be great to do along with your kids to study the topic more deeply together!

From the historical context, it is fascinating to delve into the traditions and customs surrounding a Galilean wedding. Pay attention to the costumes and sets if your kids have an artistic eye. Of course, story always comes into play when you are watching a film, and the main story is the Bible, so you are studying perfect literature! But pay attention to how the story moves along and how the movie holds your attention, and help your children analyze the structure.

There are several charts and statistics given, as well, so there may be some potential for a quick little math lesson, and this is also an opportunity for critical thinking. Talking through this documentary provides an opportunity for narration and logical thinking, as you analyze the information in light of the Bible. For more narration opportunities, be sure to use the free Discussion Guide that goes along with the film.

I would definitely watch this documentary again (in fact, I did watch it a couple times)! It was a fresh way to look at the Second Coming and understand it better, and I encourage you to sit down and watch it with your kids, as well!

I long to be in the presence of the Lord, and I am certain many readers will be feeling this too. With the escalation of world events in recent times, the subject of the end times and the rapture of the Church is flooding social media platforms more than at any time I have seen in the past ten years.

But as the years went by, my initial child-like faith on this subject became tested to the point of confusion. The Bible says that God is not the author of confusion, (1 Corinthians 14:33) so I prayed and asked Him if he would shine His light on the truth, for it must be contained within his word.

In my search for the whereabouts of the bride of Christ during the end times, I was drawn straight to the Book of Revelation. It contains the chronological visions that Jesus himself gave to his angel to give to the apostle John of all that is happening, and is going to happen, upon the earth (Revelation 1:1-2).

You will notice above that I have not mentioned Revelation chapter 7. Something of immense significance happens in chapter 7 which has taken me almost thirty years to recognise and understand. I will share my thoughts on this shortly.

For a great part of my life as a believer, I have personally hoped in a pre-tribulation rapture. However, after my time of study, I realised that my pre-tribulation hope seemed to be contrary to what I was reading in Scripture. This understanding came to me when reading Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. In these Gospel accounts, Jesus warns believers about what will happen during the time of the birth pains, and he says that we will see these things begin to happen.

What I began to understand was this: the fact that there is no further mention of the Church after Revelation chapter 3 does not definitively mean that believers have been raptured at that point. It would seem more likely that Jesus gave his warning letters to the churches (and that includes churches today) knowing that we would be on this earth to endure the time of the birth pains.

The details of these events begin to unfold in Revelation chapter 5 where the Lamb (Jesus) takes the scroll containing the seven seals. Chapter 6 is the graphic description of the opening and outpouring of the first five seals, (what is believed to be the events of the birth pains), which culminates at the end of Revelation 6:11. It is believed by many that the events of the sixth and seventh seals form part of the final Great Tribulation.

With my desire to be taken up in a pre-tribulation rapture, I have found it quite difficult to discover that, from what I was reading in Scripture, my long-held hope may not actually be the case. It appears to me that a pre-tribulation rapture (before the beginning of any of the birth pains events) does not seem to fit with what Jesus has said in the Gospels, or with the purpose of His warning letters to the churches in Revelation chapters 2-3.

So, if believers are not taken up into heaven in a pre-tribulation rapture before the time of the birth pains, we would have to conclude that the Church is still on the earth to witness all these events. If this is the case, we must trust in Jesus to deliver us out of this world before the wrath of God falls upon the earth in the Great Tribulation.

The Church being taken from the earth immediately before the Great Tribulation is known as the mid-tribulation rapture. In support of this, you will remember that, earlier, I mentioned that something significant happens in Revelation chapter 7.

The events of the vision of Revelation chapter 7 are written directly after what John was instructed to write concerning the birth pains events recorded in Revelation chapter 6. What the angel shows to John in Revelation 7 is something that must be fulfilled before the unstoppable outpouring of the wrath of God in the Great Tribulation (described from Revelation chapter 8 onwards).
