IKEA catalogue anf channels

I looked at the IKEA catalogue today and is very impressive use of Junaio. Couple of questions:
- is whole thing using one channel? How many images in the tracking file?
- how does the scanning work- I dont see any QR codes

Hi Dave,

the tracking is based on the new metaio SDK / junaio 4.5 - there are around 40 to 50 pages with AR content.

With the upcoming creator 2.0 you will be able to use this system => it combines client based visual search with 2D Markerless Tracking.

And yes, it's just one channel and detecting the images.

That's interesting - that means Junaio can now support over 50 images per tracking file. I've been limiting myself to 10 for each channel, so this is a big step forward.

For each of my channels, I've added my channel images to SCAN, but when Junaio detects the images it doesn't find my channels. In fact my channels dont even show up when I do a search. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

hi dave,

in order for a channel to show up in the visual search, it has to be public, active and return a valid tracking configuration on pois/search.

Do your channels fulfill these requirements?
