The purpose of this article is to shed some light on the myth of
genetics and how they relate to jump training. More specifically
whether or not they can actually allow those with good genes so to
speak to jump higher then those that are not as genetically inclined.
Genetics Defined in layman's terms.
Genetics are basically physical characteristics and traits for the
most part that are passed down from your family from generations
before you.
Can they help one jump higher faster?
People with good genes or physical characteristics tend to respond
quicker then those that are average in nature. The reason why is
because of what's called fast twitch muscle fibers. You see those that
are born naturally stronger and faster tend to have more of them.
Fortunately for you this doesn't mean that you can't out jump them!
Although some people are born naturally stronger and faster than
others, the right type of training can help you to out perform them.
There are certain exercised that you can do to train for fast twitch
muscle fibers, you just have to know what workouts to do and how to
train them. One thing that can't be measured is will. Strength is good
however determination and perseverance are something that strength can
never out due.
If you want to learn how to jump higher fast the all you need to do is
two things. Train smarter and harder. That's it. Strength in addition
to quick movements, or how fast you are able to move weight, equals
power. Incorporate this into your workout and you'll be sure to jump
out of the building.
