Hah, just anxious for the code?

We will release the source of MetOnce ( https://market.android.com/details?id=cc.miankong.jianmian ) next week, probably Wednesday.
Together with it, our API and some documentation will be out too.

From my point of view, it's hard to do a open-source project right. Any suggestions on the topic is welcomed.

What type of license would you prefer? GPL/LPGL, or MIT/BSD? We've discussed it a lot internally, but reached no common agreement.
So, we'd like to hear the voices.

R.Y.

Hi RenYi,

The following comments are just my personal opinions, feel free to disagree:

A good open source project, I guess, should be actively maintained by some core guys from the beginning, so people following the project can see it is not gonna die tomorrow.

Blog posts, documents and tutorials etc. are essential to convert people from other domains to the project.(e.g. a tutorial which teaches how to convert a PhoneGap app in real world to Julia, so people will see the differences straight away).

Good luck with this project and I am keen to see the bright future of it.

Cheers,
LD
