Hi all, so it's now just a month away from the publication of my book,
The Grace of Everyday Saints. Reviews are coming in, readings are
being set up, and it all feels decidedly exciting but a bit unnerving
to have this work I've toiled away on about to land in the public for
all to see. It's a cliche, but true: this was a labor of love. I wrote
this story about an amazing group of people who fought for more than a
decade for something they love - an old church. I wanted to do justice
to their story. Thank you in advance for your support.
Tomorrow morning - Sunday, July 17, at the still-bleary hour of 7-8, I
will talk with Brent Walters, the talented and thoughtful host of
Godtalk, on KGO 810 am. I'll try to post it on my Web site for those
fortunate enough to sleep in.
