How can I reinstall/recompile packages in Julia?

Hello all,

I want to recompile/reinstall packages I downloaded from Github for testing purposes. I didn’t find any hints on how to do this. whos(Pkg) doesn’t show anything useful in this direction either (or I am just overseeing it).

Please provide a cross reference when you double post your question. Most of the questions on all the sites gets read and answered by the same people, and it is highly demotivating to answer a question just to find that someone else answered it two hours ago in a different forum.
