Hello everyone,

I need to LU factorize a squared matrix A.
Specifically I need to make an LU decomposition with PARTIAL PIVOTING (only rows permutations, if needed).

I found commands lufact(A) and lu(A), but I don't read anything about PARTIAL PIVOTING on the guide.

Any idea about how to perform this partial pivoting LU factorization?

Thank you very much for any info,

Michela

The documentation for lu(A) says

"
lu(A) → L, U, p

Compute the LU factorization of A, such that A[p,:] = L*U.

"

This is an LU decomposition with partial pivoting. The P matrix is the pivot table.
