Yes, sorry that I forgot to link the question, but yes, that sounds like a good plan. Once the new place is active, do we disable posting to this list?

I would think so, yes. One of the owners then should put it in read only, disable sign-ups, and put a message at the top that we moved. Just like is done for julia-dev and will be done later this week for julia-stats.
