Hi All,

I am trying to install Julia from git on OS X, 10.8.4, latest XCode and all bells and whistles, fortran provided as MacPorts GCC 4.7 gfortran (linked as /usr/local/bin/gfortran/), and I have the following issue on build:

/usr/local/julia/Make.inc:177: *** Recursive variable `BUILD_MACHINE' references itself (eventually).  Stop.

make[1]: *** [julia-release] Error 2

make: *** [release] Error 2

then the build stops (obviously).  Any idea of what's up?
