Hi everyone,

First of all a big thank you for providing such a great service.

In the Fall, I'm planning to teach an MSc level Econometrics course using Julia. The course has about 100 students and I was wondering whether juliabox.com has the capacity for those students to log in at the same time.

My second question is how I can get a list of the pre-installed packages on JuliaBox. I tried Pkg.status() but that only gives me the list of the individually installed packages (or at least that's my guess).

Thanks a lot for your help,

Benjamin

We are glad you like it. We have been hard at work making it robust and scalable since the load this fall is 3-4x of what it was a few months ago. I will reach out to you separately to understand what you need.

Short answer yes - but we need to make sure we have enough compute credits to support the class. I suspect that starting January, we will at least need folks to pay a few dollars a month to support the cloud compute - but want to make sure we don’t run out of our existing credits before January.

Answering your second question: Once you're logged in, click on "Settings"

In the settings page, scroll down to "JuliaBox version" and click on the Julia version number (0.3, 0.4, 0.5) to get a list of packages installed for that particular version
