Downloading .ipynb files from JuliaBox

It seems that when downloading a .ipynb from JuliaBox, the resulting filename ends in .json, not .ipynb: one of my students writes,

"Is there anyway to download the ipynb file from the julia box? I tried to use "File-Download as-IPython Notebook", but this gives me a json file instead of ipynb file."

Hi Madeleine,

When I try the "File-Download as-IPython Notebook" I am getting a .ipynb file.  Can you try clicking on the file that you want to download in the "Files" tab?  If that doesn't work then we will have to look at the issue at a deeper level.

This could be browser-specific as well since the browser probably knows the mime type of the file and may force an extension. What browser is the student using?

It is indeed a browser issue. When I use chrome, it can be downloaded as a ipynb file, but when I switched to safari, it adds a json extension to ipynb. Thanks for your help!
