"Journey to the Center of the Earth" - Routledge vs Malleson translations.

Two of the more renowned public domain English translation of "Journey to the Center of the Earth" are the Frederick Amadeus Malleson translation published by Ward, Locke, & Co., and the translation by an unnamed translator published by Routledge. Both are universally acknowledged as being superior to the infamous "Hardwigg" translation/rewrite published by Griffin and Farran.

However, which of these two would you consider better than the other, and why? What strengths and weaknesses do they each possess?
