to Jujutsu Kaisen New Movie Upcoming Release
Jujutsu Kaisen is almost ready for its U.S. debut and Crunchyroll has a new trailer to celebrate. The movie, which premiered in Japan in Dec. 221, will be released in American theaters on March 18.

The trailer doesn’t include much new information, but it does give fans a brief glimpse at the movie’s story. Jujutsu Kaisen is a prequel to the Jujutsu Kaisen series that still includes some of the most popular characters from the first season. The movie focuses on the story of Yuta Okkotsu, an high schooler who suffers a tragedy shortly before meeting Gojo and getting drafted into the ranks of the Jujutsu Sorcerers. The story also features appearances from some of the second-year students who appear in season 1, like Panda, Inumaki, and Zenin.

Jujutsu Kaisen launched to commercial and critical acclaim in Japan at the end of last year. The film debuted at number one at the Japanese box office, although it didn’t overtake any of the box office records currently held by Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — the Movie.

Jujutsu Kaisen will also return with a new season of the anime, just not for a while. According to the season 2 announcement, the series won’t return until sometime in 223.

Jujutsu Kaisen Reveals English Dub Voice Cast

The film adaptation of Japanese manga Jujutsu Kaisen has just received an official trailer and multiple stills. Crunchyroll also just announced the main voice cast for the English dub, which will consist of Kayleigh McKee (Beastars), Anairis Quiñones (Wonder Egg Priority), Allegra Clark (Lego Friends: Girls on A Mission), Xander Mobus (Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness), Matthew David Rudd (Jujutsu Kaisen), Kaiji Tang (Shaman King), and Lex Lang (Doom Patrol).

The film will be theatrically released in the U.S. and Canada on March 18 by Toho Animation in both dubbed and subbed versions. Advanced ticket sales will begin on March 1.

The theatrical poster for Jujutsu Kaisen was also released, which depicts several of the main characters front and center, ready for action. The trailer begins with one of the characters exclaiming that demons will run free through the night right before a sinister creature flashes across the screen.

Audiences are then shown main character Yuta Okkotsu as he struggles with being visited constantly by his late childhood friend, who made him promise to marry her when they grew older. Soon, Yuta is taken away to the mysterious Jujutsu High, where he may have the chance to learn what it takes to break the curse that has been cast upon him. As the trailer goes on, explosive action ensues, including fights with power chords-turned monsters and a giant panda. The trailer is in Japanese with English subtitles.

Jujutsu Kaisen is based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami, and will serve as a prequel to the anime series Jujutsu Kaisen, which is also based on Akutami's manga series. Both the manga and series adaptation have been very successful, with the manga selling over 60 million copies in Japan alone, and the anime series being named Anime of the Year at the 2021 Crunchyroll Anime Awards.

The anime series is currently available to stream in its entirety on both Crunchyroll and Funimation. Additionally, a second season of Jujutsu Kaisen is set to drop sometime in 2023.

Jujutsu Kaisen Up for Sale Now

Jujutsu Kaisen has kept fans on edge long enough! It won't be much longer before the hit movie makes its debut stateside, and it would put things lightly to say fans are hyped. After all, the prequel has been thriving in Japan since its late 2021 debut, and audiences in the U.S. can go ahead and buy tickets if they'd like!

"When they were children, Rika Orimoto was killed in a traffic accident right before the eyes of her close friend, Yuta Okkotsu. Rika became an apparition, and Yuta longed for his own death after suffering under her curse, but the greatest Jujutsu sorcerer, Satoru Gojo, welcomed him into Jujutsu High.

There Yuta meets his classmates, Maki Zen'in, Toge Inumaki, and Panda, and finally finds his own determination. Meanwhile, the vile curse user, Suguru Geto, who was expelled from the school for massacring ordinary people, appears before Yuta and the others. While Geto advocates for creating a paradise for only jujutsu sorcerers, he unleashes a thousand curses upon Shinjuku and Kyoto to exterminate all non-sorcerers. Will Yuta be able to stop Geto in the end? And what will happen to breaking Rika's curse...?"

Jujutsu Kaisen: Escape From the Cursed Spirit of the Abandoned School

Satoru Gojo has a mission – for you! You're a student at Jujutsu Tech, and your particular kind of sorcery prevents you from leaving your home. You'll have to guide your fellow students through their mission in an abandoned school from a distance. Can you and the others use your jujutsu techniques – and your smarts – to exorcise the cursed spirit before it's too late?

When you think of an anime world you would want to live in, Jujutsu Kaisen probably isn't at the top of your list, if it is even on the list. But it's possible you've dreamed of going on just one cursed spirit investigation alongside Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushigoro, and best girl Nobara Kugisaki. If so, SCRAP has exactly what you've been waiting for!

Jujutsu Kaisen Online Puzzle Game - Escape from the Cursed Spirit of the Abandoned School is an online escape game that puts you on the Jujutsu Tech team. Immersive and imaginative, it's a must-buy for anyone counting down the days until Jujutsu Kaisen 0 hits movie theaters in the west.

Escape from the Cursed Spirit of the Abandoned School combines real-world materials with an online game. Inside your game kit you'll find a letter from Satoru Gojo asking for your help. You're a cursed technique user yourself, but your skills only work over long distances. Gojo assigns you to a mission to help the first-year students investigate a creepy abandoned school, and you'll need to use your techniques and smarts to exorcise the cursed spirit before it's too late.

As you make a call to the Jujutsu Tech students through the online component of the game, you'll hear some very familiar voices. The Japanese voice actors from the anime all reprise their roles, complete with English subtitles. The original new story feels like Jujutsu Kaisen the moment you hear Yuji's trademark enthusiasm and Gojo being, well, Gojo. The visuals don't quite match the high level set by the voiceovers; similar to a visual novel, illustrated characters stay static on the screen and the background changes as they move between locations.

Getting past the introduction and tutorial is also a little rough. It's a lot of listening and subtitled text to get through, but it's hard to complain too much when it's Gojo giving you the rundown. Stick with it, because when the investigation in the abandoned school gets underway, the game picks up quickly. Master the cursed technique in your game kit and you'll be a jujutsu sorcerer before you know it.

Puzzles are intuitive and the cursed technique you use is rather ingenious. Pore through all the documents and materials you have in your game kit and listen carefully to your fellow students for clues. If you get stuck, there's no need to Google; an embedded hint system will give you tips before finally revealing the answer.

Because the game's explanation and the included documents are so detailed, you don't need to be familiar with Jujutsu Kaisen beforehand to enjoy the story. The game can be played solo or in a group, and takes approximately two hours from start to finish. Obviously, Escape from the Cursed Spirit of the Abandoned School appeals to anime fans well-acquainted with Yuji and his friends, but it's also a unique experience for anyone who simply loves puzzles and escape games.
