JUIT people risking their prized possesions iPhones, Macs (the
only things they got in college to show-off) for this? lol
A little difficult for people, who would not even want to touch (not
even re-partition) their computers because they wont be able to watch movies.
Lets teach them what device drivers are, first. Let us tell them drivers
are not some things which are needed only when you format windows. :p

Thank you guys for a great response in a single day. Hope you all will
join it and please remain posting new ideas for the fest so that noobs

As said earlier, we would like to know more about you. A short
introduction about year/stream/interests will do. :)

I am NUkul SEhgal, CREATECH-technical club coordinator of session
2010-11 in 3rd year ECE... but now seems like a boring job so just
want create an atmosphere in college so that students as well as
faculty push themselves towards open source and linux.. very much
interested in cloud computing and virtualisation of servers and thus
want to know more and more about UNIX/LINUX in depth.. have great
plans to do in my 4th year for LUG so that our juniors may know all
about it...

@All: Let's not be discouraging. And especially here, we have tech club + LUG together.

@Shanky Sir: Muhahahahha !!! :P

@Abhijeet Sir: JUIT me ho raha hai...not in ur grad school ;) Ask me what people (espcially CS students) knew about drivers :P In fact even in my MS, I have come across people who would tell me stories like "once I installed linux (they count linux as an OS, not kernel) things and my computer became slow...crashed..hard disk failed.." blah blah !!!
And I second Chirag. No apple playing :)
AND AND Congrats kyun??

@Chiky: I now just know one thing: those were the best days of my life! ;-)
P.S. I accidently met a geek (read hot guy :P) who was contributing to Linux Drivers Program (LDP). And let's take this offline when you're back. :)

@Prasad: Hi! :)

@Nukul: Good luck! :)

By tech club, I just meant - you are heading/coordinating tech club so at least you have some power! Apne time pe to jo kia humne kia.. no tech club no nothing!

ya sure.. but this time scene is all different.. tech club is now
under JYC.. and if lug became under it den it will be of no use.. JYC
here is just meant for cultural things...
