you can download crclient from cyberoam webpage. Open your account and download the linux
client from there. You can run it from the command line.

If possible, use yum for package management. "yum install <packageName>"
Otherwise, you can use "rpm -i <rpmFile>" to install an RPM file.

@Neeraj :
Why do you need RHEL ? I would suggest you to go for desktop oriented distros like fedora, ubuntu etc.

@Chirag sir thanx.
@ saurabh sir & prasad sir actually i m new to linux and have done a
course on "Linux server and security" from hp this summer.
there i used only RHEL.I also tried to install ubuntu on my laptop but
it was showing Windows and Ubuntu as existing OS at boot screen.i
wasnt able to get RHEL booting option at boot screen so i uninstalled
ubuntu.(although RHEL's partition was there) :(

In opensuse update manager and package installer do not support download resuming, so if you are installing something and a big package gets interrupted while downloading, it will start from the beginning even if its 99.99% complete. This i think becomes a major issue when you use our college's net connection with so measly download limits.

But i still don't get why you need RHEL specifically. Whatever you do on RHEL, you can do on any of the above mentioned distros.

i think it should have been.... did somebody saying something about
Fedora????? I am listening..... damn i miss it so much... but it has
some issue with my macbook but i have to try Fedora 13. it should work
now.... i think Fedora is the best os i ever used.... although i wont
say anything about my worst os as i never really get to chance to get
my hands on Vista, i hated it since day one and i remember i had to
install it along with my fedora as to test some installation issue....
and i deleted it right after....

so Fedora Rocks ......
and su do (so do) OpenSuse (but i still hate it but its good to begin
with).

FEDORA sucks.. we have been trying hard here in the uni to make it work on the Macs.. and finally our good ol' friend, Ubuntu came  to the rescue..

Use Ubuntu, it has a larger community and almost all the stuff you need are available on the repos. Having said that, I also like SuSE.. but in a way, over the years of using distros like Suse, RH, Ubuntu, Fedora, Mint, solaris, open solaris, PCLinux, Easy Peasy, Mandriva, BSD, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Sabayon, Slackware, CentOS, gentoo, knoppix and OpenDarwin (I hope I didn't miss any distro that I've previously used, in case I did, my apologies to the makers of that distro :P ), I have found Ubuntu to be the best for your Desktop.. I currently run the bloated version of Ubuntu with all the desktop effects enabled on my netbook without any problem, whatsoever.. My honest suggestion, use Ubuntu ;)

with mac, Fedora do have some problem.... i tried to go back to linux,
but i was unable to successfully install fedora on my macbook.
although i have to try fedora 13 to see if it will work. but on PC it
works perfectly fine. i still remember it was even supporting 845
chipset and an earlier version for desktop cubes, which at that time
suse was unable to do .. but again now its all irrelevant as everyone
has some sort of graphic cards. but yes if you are using mac then
installing fedora could be pain in ass. i will see how fedora 13 goes
once i have some free time.

ahem ahem... so much activity when i was not around.. :p

hmm i think Ubuntu is great. Good for beginners, enterprises, kinda stable also, great
community support etc etc.
BUT if you just want to remain a beginner, get the answers from the community, get
everything stable and working.. you might as well use Macintosh (or hackintosh), windows
etc. If you are eager to learn, here are the distros which i recommend (which i have tried
also) in increasing order of geekness: :D
- Ubuntu
- RHEL (CentOS)
- Fedora (thanks to prix sir for installing it on my desktop) :)
- openSUSE, Debian
- Slackware
- ArchLinux
- Gentoo

@to everyone: (prix sir, prasad, shanky sir, abhijit sir, neeraj, saurabh): i think we
should have more of these conversations on the group. We get to learn from each other, we
should know what everyone else is doing and that the group is still alive. :)
And lets post about our work on the blog and not just be lazy... :p

I think only Neeraj and Saurabh are left in the colg to carry on... keep up the good work
guys and good luck. :)

And btw add Delhi to the list.... (as shanky sir said) when anyone is in delhi, do tell
us.. free beer, food, stay whatever you want... [no girls though ;) ]

I would choose FEDORA over any other distro anytime of the day.
I remember the time when I hated AMD at every single booting of linux, system unstable as hell and all sorts of weird stuff
due to the bitch of a driver fglrx is. Then came Fedora 12, the first one to include open source 3D capable driver for AMD r600
chipset. For the first time in my life i got a stable Linux install and its the best i ever had. I am so in love with Fedora after that.
Its easy to take other's hardwork and claim to be the most stable distro ( yes i am talking about Ubuntu ). But i think everyone
here will agree that Fedora is the place where all the next generation features and innovations are introduced in linux.
Contributing the most upstream.
Fedora is the daredevil of all linux distros.
By the way I am using Pinguy OS ( ubuntu ) because of the elementary theme and customizations :D

Again, I think you like things served in your plate. the fglrx driveer works great with
Linux. You just need the patience to play around with it. I also had AMD and I too had
trouble with it for a long time but eventually it worked. And i'm sure, fglrx is mature
enough not to cause any trouble.

Come up with some data to support your assertion? Just look at OpenSUSE's build service
and see what they are doing for fedora and other distros.
Not saying fedora is bad or anything but look at other distros as well.

@Chirag : Sir, fglrx is the worst thing ever
                rant {
minimize, maximize lag there from i don't know how long and not fixed.
support for new xorg server bhagwan bharose
all graphical apps behave weird, movie player lags
you never know which update might stop x from working
you can not expect any application to behave nice if you turn on compiz like vlc for instance
                 }
And that's when I don't even remember half the annoyances.
as for upstreaming innovations just go to fedoraproject.org, read release notes, you will see many many first time evers.
opensuse customized firefox for better integration with kde like in kget, and its ben there since 11.2. Do we see this in any kde distro out there ? I think, no. ( well i don't know much about it to think of anything else. )
I thought suse build service requires opensuse as its base, so i don't think its any good for any other distro.

As for evidence of ubuntu's negligible upstreaming :D cmon sir you know its true.
