Technical Essay Writing Competition

JUIT IEEE believes in endowing students with opportunities to enrich
their knowledge and exhibit the latent genius. With such a vision, a
Technical Essay Writing Competition is being organized. Students can
opt from any of the 5 topics given below and submit their essays by
11th Nov, 2008.

TOPICS
1. The Big Bang & CERN's Dream : Is it worth all the effort, money &
hype?
2. Genetic Engineering - "Jurassic Park" : Is it feasible & should it
be done?
3. Virtual Reality is more than reality.
4. SMS or a mess.
5. Cyber Terror – How vulnerable are you?


RULES
1. No handwritten essays will be accepted, and the essay must be in a
Microsoft Word or Rich Text Format file.
2. Essay must be no longer than 600 words.
3. Essay must be an original work created by the entrant specifically
for this competition.
4. SUBMISSION: E-mail a copy of your Essay, and include your name,
roll number and contact number in the document containing the essay,

5. JUDGING CRITERIA
• Creativity (25%)
• Technical knowledge & inputs (25%)
• Organization (25%)
• Grammar/Spelling/Punctuation (25%)
6. PRIZES: Winning entry will be published in official JUIT IEEE blog
and newsletter. Certificate of excellence will be awarded to top 3
entries.

Does writing more than one article make me eligible for multiple
prizes?
