The second quarterly meet of Delhi Section is round the corner (on
29th March) and we must have some representation in it, since (as all
of you must be knowing) JUIT is going to organise the third quarterly
meeting in September.
Please submit your names, to me (or Ujjwal or Esha) at the earliest (
latest by 27th March ) so that I can get the registrations done. The
formal invitation is attached at the end of this mail.
I know, that its (a little) difficult to be in Delhi on 29th March,
with the mid sems starting from the 31st but then that's probably part
of training in an engineering course - living on the edge. We did try
to get the meeting rescheduled, through several exchange of mails (and
phone calls) with Ms.Prerna Gaur (Student Activity Chairperson, Delhi
section) and Romil {something} (the chairperson MAIT), but to no
avail. After all, we are the only member institute in Delhi section
sitting on a hill top, completely oblivious to the examination
schedule followed by mortals who have the (dis)pleasure of walking on
plain roads.
Besides, there's a very good (and genuine) reason why the 3rd, 2nd and
1st year should be going to Delhi rather than the 4th yearites, who
are presumed (rather naively!) to be free of the academic pressures.
When the next quarterly meet is organised at JUIT in September, none
of us (the 4th year students) will be here (hopefully!) and so its the
current juniors who'll be organising the event and it is they who have
to look at how it should be organised.
Thus, I request you to please come forward and send us your names for
the 2nd quarterly meet at MAIT, Delhi on 29th March and prepare for
the minors a priori.
Cheers
--Sudip.
