Dear Students,

As you all are aware of the IEEE R-10 GINI Project, we have come up with the following plans for introducing and working towards achieving the following goals:

• Networking the whole section.
• Promote help and cooperation amongst student branches
• Make dormant student branches active and active one's vibrant.
• Increase membership status of student branches.
• Have common membership drives.

For those who are still not aware of the project yet can visit the website http://www.ieeer10gini.org for familiarizing with the same.

The plan of action is to divide the the whole section into three hubs. Each hub will consist of active student branches and dormant student branches. The active student branches will work towards making the dormant branches active and also help them sustain membership. They should also help the other active student branches amongst the hub to become vibrant by mutual cooperation and having common programs and membership drives. The divisions have been made on the basis of regions so that the active branches can concentrate on a particular region.

Each student branch will have three representatives in the respective working team of their hub. From each hub, one student from each vibrant branch will be selected to be a representative at the section, in the main committee that will be headed by the Student Activity Chairperson.

The branch counselor/chairperson of each student branch is requested to nominate three students from each branch to be part of the hub team and send it to the SAC and CC it to me latest by 15th April '08. This will be a great opportunity for students to work at the section level and they will be awarded respectively with recognition and certification by the section for the same.

• NIT - Jaipur

Hub 2 [will consist of 9 student branches]:

• IIT - New Delhi
  
• IGIT - New Delhi
• USIT - New Delhi
• BVCOE - New Delhi
• GTBIT - New Delhi
  
• NIEC - New Delhi
• Guru Premsukh - New Delhi
• MRCE - Faridabad
• ITM - Gurgaon

Hub 3 [will consist of 9 student branches]:

• PEC - Chandigarh
  
• JMI - New Delhi
• HCE - Sonepat
• JUIT - Wacknaghat
  
• CR College - Murthal
• SDIET -  Golpur
• UET - Chandigarh
• NIT - Kurukshetra
• Seth JAYPEE MLIET - Radaur
