Love this blender
By Dianna Parker
I am so excited about the performance of the Oster blender. I had the Montel Williams blender that was extremely powerful, loud, and very expensive. I used it 2 years and the little ball bearing mechanism under the pitcher broke. The pitcher alone was like $70.00 so I did my research on all the blenders you offered and I found that for the money the Oster got the best reviews. I was skeptical as it was so much cheaper than the living well blender and the Ninja but decided to give it a try even though it cost a third of what the other two cost. So glad I did. It performs just as well. It is not as loud, and not as big so I can leave it on the counter. It blends all the ingredients just as fast as the montel Williams blender did and I love the food processor attachment as well. Made chicken salad with it yesterday using the processor to chop all the ingredients and it worked beautifully. Did I say I love this blender. I use it every day, as I am a big breakfast smoothie
person.

it chops up ice well
By Duckretainer
I had an ancient blender (one my grandma probably got when she was 20) so this was an obvious improvement. I think the red looks very nice and it looks more like metal although it is plastic. The glass is nice thick tough glass and did fine in the dishwasher. I wanted a new blender that would chop up ice. This one does that incredibly well, so I'm making frozen drinks right and left and loving this thing.

Perfect smoothies!
By Alyssa Jo Barger
I've been using the personal oster blender for a couple of years now to make smoothies. It was never perfect, but in the end my smoothies were drinkable. I recently decided to get a full sized blenders because I was sick of having to put less in my smoothies due to size and making soup that needed to be blended was a pain when I had to do it in batches.
I loved my personal blender so I really wanted to stick with Oster. After reading the reviews on this I decided to just go for it and get it.
I do pretty basic smoothies. The one that I make the most is frozen blueberries, a banana, almond milk, and some spinach. This blender blends it perfectly! No longer do I have small chunks of spinach floating in my smoothies. The thing I worried about was it not blending the spinach well enough, but it had no problem with it. We've also done frozen bananas, peanut butter, chocolate and almond milk and it worked amazingly for that too.
I have not used the
food processor yet, but I'm excited to make bean dips and salsa with it.
In the end, if you're not wanting to get the cheapest thing out there (because believe me, they won't work the way you want them too) but you're also completely unwilling to spend hundards on a blender I highly suggest this one.
